Started running

And I hope I won’t stop. This marks the first day of my running routine. Inspired by Steve Pavlina’s video about the benefits of cardio training, I’ve finally decided to start running.

Running is the most accessible form of cardio training – you just put on your shoes and go out for a run. It fits into my busy schedule – I will be running three days a week at the beginning, on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays in the morning, after I take Paulina and Oliver to kindergarten. Ideally, I will be done with the training and shower by 9, and then I can start working.

As far as the first run goes, I’ve managed to walk/run for 4 kilometres with mild pain in my right ankle and chest. I had to make a walking break two times, but overall, it felt great 🙂
